Sometimes the healthiest meals are not only the simplest, but also the most Wais!
For breakfast, Mommy Neri recommends plenty of delicious and nutritious meals like low-sugar cereals, oatmeal, pancakes, and milk so your child can start the day right. She also says fresh fruits are a must!
For lunch, Mommy Neri usually serves something a bit heavier, so Miggy will have the energy to get through the rest of his day. Some of her favorites are tinola, sinigang, and adobo, all served with rice.
At dinner, she likes to keep it light. Here, she usually cooks fish and vegetables, along with leftovers from lunch.
Mommy Neri also likes to get Miggy involved in preparing meals as well. Miggy shows how to be a Batang May Laban by not only eating healthy foods but also by helping Mommy Neri cook in the kitchen and set the table for the family before meals. Miggy also helps out in the garden planting fruits and vegetables. This is so he gets more interested in eating them, and learns a new skill.
